Alma mater letran aming hirang. I'm a true-blooded Letranite. I've been studying in Letran since my first year of high school. And now, I'm an incoming junior high in my school. Yes, I've been studying in Letran about three years already. How fast time flies. Anyways, I may not be studying in Letran for a long time. But, I am and still be a proud Letranite.
I've been joining sports competition for my school since I'm a freshman. Well that's life, sometimes I win, sometimes not. However, I still did my best for my school to be proud of me. When I'm joining, I don't think of myself but my school. I'm thinking that I want to win because I'm holding my school's name not just mine. Inside the campus, I'm very active in some extra-curricular. I'm a photojournalist in our school paper. I really wanted to join GSP and tanghalang letran. But it's too hassle. I have two organizations: varsity and The Squire. And I'm an SSC student too! So, I have to manage my time wisely. And the best way is to minimize the clubs and organizations to join.
Going back about my school, studying in Letran is one of the best thing that happened in my life. Intramurals, foundation week, field trip and other activities are always fun! And you will never get bored. In Letran, it's just not about studying, studying and studying, over and over again. Sometimes, the students need a break and have fun for a while. In every academic events, you will learn and have fun at the same time too! That's what I love about Letran.
The high school basic education has two curriculums: the basic education (BEC) and the special science curriculum (SSC). Because I'm an SSC student, it's easy for me to explain its curriculum. Being an SSC student is not that easy but I'm very lucky to be. You need to go home late. You have many elective subjects. But the advantage is, you will learn a lot. Can you imagine that on our second year of high school, we're already studying Geometry, Basic Statistics, Robotics and Business Math? It's very hard to study four math subjects! But I feel very lucky to know all these things because I can use it in the future. And next school year, we'll be studying, Advance Algebra, Advance Statistics, Research, Trigonometry, Physics and whole lot more! Well, what can I say, next year would be a blast! But I think it would be fun next year. And it's really fun to study and know more than what you expect. I'm just so lucky to be studying in Letran. Arriba Letran!
